एनआरएनए एनसीसी अमेरिकाको २०१९ निर्वाचनका २०९३ सदस्य छानविन गर्न कमिटि गठन

गैरआवासीय नेपाली संघ (एनआरएनए) अमेरिकाज रिजनले गैरआवासीय नेपाली संघ राष्ट्रिय समन्वय परिषद (एनआरएनए एनसीसी) अमेरिकाको गत २०१९ को निर्वाचनमा विवादित २०९३ सदस्यको छानविन गर्न एक कमिटी गठन गरेको छ।

एनआरएनए अमेरिकाज क्षेत्रका क्षेत्रीय संयोजक (आरसी) राजन त्रिपाठीले संघको अन्तराष्ट्रिय समन्वय परिषदका महासचिव डा हेमराज शर्माले सेप्टेम्बर २९, २०२० मा दिएको निर्देशन पत्र अनुसार सो कमिटी गठन गरिएको जानकारी दिए। छानविन गर्न आरसी त्रिपाठीकै संयोजकत्वमा पाँच सदस्यीय छानबिन कमिटी बनाइएको जानकारी प्राप्त भएको छ। बनेको कमिटीलाई आइसीसीको कार्यकारी बोर्डले अनुमोदन गरेको जानकारी पनि आरसी त्रिपाठीले जानकारी दिएका छन्।

कमिटिमा निम्न व्यक्तित्वहरु रहेका छन्:

• संयोजक -राजन त्रिपाठी, क्षेत्रिय संयोजक, अमेरिकाज
• सदस्य-कृष्ण लामिछाने, मानार्थ अन्तराष्ट्रिय परिषद सदस्य तथा एनसीसी अमेरिका निबर्तमान बोर्ड सदस्य

कमिटीले २ महिना भित्र छानविन पुरा गरि अन्तराष्ट्रिय परिषदमा रिपोर्ट पेश गर्न निर्देशन दिएको छ। आरसी त्रिपाठीका अनुसार कमिटीले छानविनको काम शुरु गरिसकेको र एनसीसी अमेरिकाका बर्तमान अध्यक्षलाई २०१९ एनसीसी चुनावको भन्दा अगाडिको समयका सदस्यहरुको डेटा उपलब्ध गराउन र उक्त चुनावको मतमा प्रयोग भएका तर प्रमाणिकरण नगरिएका २०९३ मतलाई छानविन गर्न सहयोग गर्न अनुरोध गरेको छ।

Dear Mr. Tripathi,

As you must be aware that there was a disagreement among the presidential candidates of NCC USA on the voter list published for the election of the tenure 2019-21. The dispute was related to the suspected discrepancies in the data of the members and inclusion of individuals that were not members of NCC USA in the voter's list.

This was brought to the notice of the International Executive Secretariat (IES) of the tenure 2017-19, and it was decided that the then President and General Secretary conduct a meeting with the NCC USA president and the presidential candidates. It was then mutually agreed that the election be continued, and if any discrepancies and manipulation was found to have taken place in the voter list; the Executives of NCC USA elected through this voter list would be decertified by the International Coordination Council (ICC) (a letter sent to the then regional coordinator is attached).

Since this matter has not yet come to an agreeable conclusion and dispute still continues; 21st meeting of the IES and Office Bearers for the tenure 2019-21 held on 15th August, 2020 has given a mandate to the General Secretary to look into this matter and present the findings to the IES.

With this background on hand, I ask you, as the Regional Coordinator of the Americas Region, to propose a five-member committee under your co-ordination, along with a TOR defining the scope of work of this committee. This proposed committee should include at least one member from outside of USA, and others through discussion and mutual consent of the disputing parties. Given the nature of the subject matter, these members must have adequate knowledge of the IT field. The committee will start its work after an approval of the committee and TOR, and submit its report within one month from the date of endorsement.
